What is the difference between government being in or out of session? The answer is NOTHING, which aught to tell you just how much we need government!

When the government is shutdown, they tell all non-essential workers to stay home. Why don’t they do that ALL the time?

That is the trouble with making our government a popularity contest instead of a job interview.
