Pelosi has arguably been one of THE best speakers, she is lagging behind on this oversight and impeachment issue. Congress has a Constitutional duty to oversee the Executive branch when they are pushing the boundaries of lawlessness. Not working with your own members is criminal.
I have a question. What do y’all think is going to happen when an impeachment hearing opens? How is the evidence going to be gathered and displayed? Just how rapidly do you think anything will change? And what is your final goal for these hearings in the House? Are you willing to gamble on being able to achieve impeachment in Trump’s second term? (Yes, I am rechanneling the Nixon years and the McGovern defeat, as well as the original Nixon victory over Humphrey, which formed the culmination of my years protesting the Vietnam debacle. I’ve been burned and am now wary of idealism that is not connected to reality.)
Political “handlers” are all appalled by politicians who insist on writing their own tweets. No control. No spin. No way to claim it was just a momentary mis-statement. Bad enough that they even have twitter accounts at all, but for godsake, let the staff handle ’em!

Slight problem with the toon, while Donnie is indeed a menace, Dennis has better manners.

The elephant should keep quiet. I believe that if he quit tweeting he’d lose much of his base.

There is no doubt that Trump is guilty of Obstruction of Justice. Sadly, so is Pelosi by refusing to open impeachment hearings.

The one thing that Alexandria and Donald have in common is that neither can allow an unspoken thought to remain so.

Having very strong opinions about something doesn’t make you right. Or smart.
