    Chees, this scenario is too true to be funny. kids have been known to claim that the pain from appendicitis has gone so they can go back out to play. Plaster up a kid after an operation and you can guarantee they’ll be back on the monkey bars as soon as they get home. Horse riders are just as bad.

    Had a similar experience as a kid; came down with a skin infection during a family beach vacation. Doctor’s orders were to keep me strictly out of the sun, and heaven forbid I go in the water! It sucked watching everyone else play..

    Will, I am glad you didn’t show Wallace’s arm at an unnatural angle. That would have been upsetting.
