There is no Democrat who supports middle class tax cuts (only tax reform that makes a return to tax fairness so that the few richest elites pay their fair share or taxes that are offset by eliminating other greater out-of-pocket costs). The Elizabeth Warren proposal for includes no middle class increases; those of others are offset by eliminating costs for premiums and deductibles that are far higher than the lesser tax increases that would replace them.

Democrats support STRONGER border security, but using high tech means that actually work, not a Trump vanity monument, and addressing the problem proactively at its causes, such as the excellent “Marshall Plan” for Central America proposed by Julián Castro.

Y’know, Mr. Kelley, that “just the facts” has to include all the facts or it’s merely lying. Middle class tax hikes? Not really: Middle class expenditures would drop under the proposal that slightly increases taxes to replace the cost of insurance. And of course the classic “open borders” lie in which letting people seek asylum is misconstrued as letting them enter without restriction. And the “free health care for illegals” which is partly true as long as you construe “free” as being available without added cost and “illegal” as being everybody.
To answer your question: Democrats have become caring, thoughtful proponents of government for the people along with a strong feeling of disgust at what the current administration does.
