Not to enter but to symbolize freedom from tyranny.

The “key to the city” doesn’t actually fit a lock either, Janis.

I’m watching “Start the Revolution Without Me” as I’m reading this.

Just seems fitting with Janis’ comment.

They built it to outlast the folks they locked up. It’s a reminder of how public policy devised by autocrats can’t last forever.

Problem is, Trump has had the key melted down and turned into 45 caliber bullets!

So Washington had a key that didn’t fit any lock. I’ve go a lot of keys like that in my junk drawer.

Well it showed the acumen our president has as pertaining to historical events. If it was anyone else they would invoke Amendment 25 and he would be replace within a week.

Did you know that Washington owned a distillery – now rebuilt along with his grist mill?

Robert E Lee was married to one of Martha Washington’s great grand daughters?

Kenneth Johnson – not sure what the first part of what you posted means. I am not saying that slavery was right, just mentioning facts of what occurred in some specific situations . I come from people who were in the gas chambers – of the 18 children in my maternal grandfather’s family he, two brothers and a sister lived – and were slaves.

As to the wondering if I am Trump – oh, am I so definitely not and so far away from same.
