Dad is a WWII vet. I had him at the VA the other day and someone thanked him for his service, called him the Greatest Generation. He replied back, “We failed in one regard, we didn’t reproduce ourselves.”
everyone acts as if participation trophies were new. I got several in the mid-1970s. They are a creation of the baby boomers. Please remind them of that when they complain about them.
