And a biker I used to work with called them “sidewalk commandos”

My 89 year old mother refers to them as “spandex moonies”

When my cousins and I played spoons, it could get pretty violent. we were only allowed to use old metal spoons, not the good ones or plastic ones as we would ruin the first and the the second were too dangerous when broken. Our kids play the same way. We have a lot of fun. ;)

I got this one right off – and found it funny. Of course I give non eye exams quite often. Hey, just had a thought, could I use this in the powerpoint notes I give 8th grade kids when we talk about eyesight? I like sticking fun stuff in their notes.

No practical use? I hunt with mine quite a bit.

    Shell Silverstein? ;)

Ours put on shows too, as I did when Ruthie’s age. And, my great grandmother used to sing that song to me. This comic just spanned may years for me. :)

Flipper is gone. He was poisoned by some idiot. Made me sad. ;(

And how many googled “green shell” just to see if it was for real? ;)
