Well ’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’ to you then.

I’ve always assumed Woodstock was male. Am I about to find out that I was wrong? And if so, can a bird lay an egg and not notice?

Snoopy, you’re awesome! How did you balance that egg on the edge of the doghouse roof? Yet another enduring mystery of cartoon physics!

I know what happened. Woodstock went into panic mode when it said, “I am the eggman. Now wait for the walrus. Goo goo ja joob!”

You didn’t have to give him that long of an egg-cuse, Woodstock!

Poor Woodstock can’t even make up a good excuse.

If an excuse is overly long, that’s a sure tip-off that it’s probably contrived. I always impressed upon co-op students, interns, and new employees that “I don’t know” is the best and most acceptable answer when they didn’t know. Anything else was “blowing smoke” and simply made them look foolish.

Young comics and comic wannabes take note: THIS is what humor is. You should all aspire to be as funny as Charles Schultz!

Perhaps Woodstock flew into the chuck chuck nest….

I wish I spoke bird

That’s a cowbird egg. Cowbirds are nest parasites — they lay eggs in other species’ nests. So Woodstock was right to question it.

It’s OK Woodstock you go ahead and raise that egg to hatching . It will come out looking like you and knowing how to type immediately. Hot terah and terillera and a so and so and so forth …

Woodstock’s either a virgin or a vegan…or both.

I suppose this rules out a queen snake slithering up there to lay it.
