    Good morning™, sailors!

The doctor had told Warbucks that he really had to get away from the world and business to avoid having a nervous breakdown. He first thought of his yacht, but decided it was too easy for him to be interrupted. It preceded the “always on” worries of today by many decades. Here is the final plan:

It looks very nice, but I’m sure it wasn’t up to the standards Mrs. Warbucks was expecting and her expectations of constant partying must have resulted in a lot of disappointment.

Good morning™, confabulating law persons !

That second scene is splendiferous and I like the magazine pile on the table in the waiting area.

People also now believe Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood.

Well, there’s the other side of the coin. May may have found a lover on one of their stops and essentially flipped Warbucks off. If you were a rich millionaire at that time, would you want to report your wife deserted you after flipping you off??

1- TRACY: Wait Tease. Before I go, how do you suggest I get the goods on Daddy?… 2- He and Stepmom #4 (or was it 5, I forget), went on a cruise and she was gone when the ship returned to port. Happens all the time. For instance, when the Chief was a kid his dad went out for cigarettes and never came back. Maybe Tricksy went out for smokes? 3- TEASE: Sigh. In the middle of the ocean? Maybe you’re not the right guy for this job Tracy…

A “DEAD issue!” I can’t believe she went there! There’s no statute of limitations on murder. Sounds like Daddy W is a killer! His wife just “doesn’t return” from a cruise, and no one looks into it? And early on in this story they said she’s been gone for “years” but Annie is only a pre-early-teen.

Looks like someone expected consistency in this mish-mash. Must be a new reader

Trixie is not how I imagined her. I was expecting a young flapper hottie.

The timeline for this story is hopelessly screwed up. I think we do best just to deal with it and not look for consistency or even believability (no “hobgoblin of small minds” here!). So, yes, Trixie disappeared during the sea cruise 20 years ago, is a witness to the crime for which Tea Templar seeks to prosecute B-B Eyes, and was a harsh stepmother to Annie, who is maybe 12 or 13 years old at most. Okay. fine. —On with the show!
