I lived in the Tampa Bay area for 30 years. This is NOT an exaggeration!
When I was living in Lakeland it was 4:00 on the dot.
I lived in lake county FL and it was 3:00 pm in the summer.
Does anybody really know what time it is?
3:00. They live in the Northern part of the state.
For me, in Panama City, it was 2 PM. Of course, we were on Central Time; Florida east of Tyndall AFB is on Eastern Time!
I visited Florida years ago, and I noticed the brief showers that would appear at the same times every day, or was I imagining things??
