No, I do not want to go seeking asylum in some other country. Love New Zealand. Canada is beautiful (and with global warming might soon have much more pleasant winters). But no, I love this country and the answer is not to go move somewhere else but to get this country back on track.
Take back our country. And by that I mean return it to those who actually get the most votes, not only by actual count, but by eliminating rampant voter suppression (the real election fraud), getting special interest money out of politics and putting an end to interference in our elections by hostile foreign adversaries.
The people of the United States did not elect Donald Trump.
Trump was installed by an anachronistic vestige designed to protect slavery, and by voter suppression on a massive scale along with a few billionaires investing millions in “donations” (read: bribes) to get a return on that investment hundreds of times over in tax giveaways and corporate welfare, and Russian interference.
Take back our country for REAL AMERICANS, who did NOT elect Trump — not Nazis and KKKONfederates who were crushed by real Americans in World War II and the Civil War respectively, or by a minority of billionaires and foreign agents who did.
I suppose four years didn’t seem like enough time to bring about the ruin of a nation to the folks who wrote the constitution. Things moved slower then. On the other hand, it’s also barely enough time to get any good thing done, considering the difficulty of working with career politicians. Maybe it is the right compromise for one presidential (or on our case, highly unpresidential) term.

If there was any justice in the world Trump would be in a mental asylum.

Actually it’s always been an open question whether Trump belongs in prison next to Mafia mobsters, or in Arkham Asylum next to the Joker………

We don’t need to seek asylum anywhere else. The GOP is already turning the United States into an asylum.
