    Only in the over-populated areas. Reduce the population and/or take away the cars, and you won’t have that problem.

    There are actually way more parking spaces than cars. They just aren’t where you want to park.

    Someone once told me you weren’t allowed to own a car in Japan unless you proved you had a place to park it. Don’t know if that’s true.
