Which is why I love my Hiya app, which immediately tells me that a call is a scam and allows me to block and report said number!

I get the car warranty calls every day! UGH!

Judge Judy the Queen of name calling ….

There’s two things you can do, Opal. Pause Judge Judy or don’t answer the phone.

Both of them are gag worthy.

And don’t forget – your windows license is expiring.

“You must call us about your mortgage or the ‘cops’ will come to your door within 48 hours.” “Unless you contact us immediately federal agents will be coming for you. There are four outstanding warrants.” “Please contact us immediately. Your son/daughter/grandchild has been arrested/is in hospital. We need you to send a prepaid…” Actual messages from scam calls I’ve had – mostly from bogus phone numbers, most probably from other countries. There’s not a lot Judge Doody can do about that, or congress unless they’re pushing for an international treaty or a court in the Hague. I’ll have to learn how to say, “Is your mother proud of what you are doing?” in about 8 different languages and 14 dialects. Could be worth it.

It’s a real problem. I run a small business from the home and the robo & telemarketers drive me nuts. Some days they amount to half my calls. And the “do-not-call” list is a joke.

Replace with “NCIS” and you’re looking at MY wife…

If I do not recognize the number I do not answer. Legit callers will leave a message. Although I must admit that I got fooled once by “Microsoft”. I asked him if his mother knew that he was a crook…he hung up.

Poor dumb people who fall for these calls. We should be able to call them back.

Robo calls are bad but TV commercials are worse, you can’t get rid of them and still watch your favorite programs.

I wish “card member services” would quit calling me. Maybe Judge Judy should bring them into her courtroom!

They’re old enough that they must also be getting calls for hearing aids, to tell them about changes in Medicare, and, of course, cheap pills for the male in the family.

I hate that woman. Her, Judge Mathis and Judge Jeanine.

Just block them.

Robocalls makes Opal crabby. But for Opal, it’s only one thing that does.

I bought a device to block numbers from those callers so far I am up to 437 and climbing

Too bad the FCC is run for corporate interests instead of citizen’s interests these days. Careful who you vote for. All these things matter.
