But, don’t worry, it’s not going to hurt. You’ll only feel a little thing.

Has anyone heard about the woman the other day who got a $5,000 medical bill after having surgery when the hospital told her that her medical insurance is accepted at the hospital she went to, but they neglected to tell her that her surgeon can refuse it, which he did?

Many years ago, one of the many ridiculous hospital charges on a friend’s medical bill for a 5-day hospital stay was for a private phone. Of all the ridiculous additions to this padded bill, the telephone charge took the cake and when they refused to take it off his tab, his friends, ( myself included ) brought it to the attention of the local television station and the newspapers.

As we tried to explain to the recalcitrant Hospital Administrator, our buddy didn’t want a phone, and wouldn’t/couldn’t use one. He was a deaf-mute.

It was only after the bad publicity and public reaction that the hospital finally, got the message, and grudgingly removed the charge.

It looks to me like the patient and the glove guy are twin brothers. They ought to be able to work something out.

This is why you shouldn’t keep your wallet on your butt. Thieves are everywhere.
