Work it into the panda story.

If you can’t play a musical instrument, then learn how to sing.

If you can’t sing, then learn how to play an instrument.

If you can’t do either, then learn how to operate a stereo.

There’s always some way to make music.

Maybe she is made to be a DJ.

It is said that you can be anything you want to be

Nobody said that you will actually be any good at what you want to be

Hmm, this is actually a fairly nasty thread (of course we often have those but usually pointed at Adam). Attacking a person’s voice is a bad attack. And it’s actually possible to teach people to sing in tune, I’ve taught this for years and have only twice encountered a person I couldn’t get to carry a tune. So there!

Well, you can tune a piano but you can’t tuna fish…

Adam, give it a chance. As long as it’s somewhere else. And if it doesn’t work, it will be someone else telling her she has no talent and you’re off the hook.

Now it’s singing lessons. Katie sure is an expensive child. I’m not sure the folks will be able to send her to that Ivy League she will likely want to attend.

Try telling a real girl that. She’d cry for days. And I speak from experience.
