Right Wing “news” says the MAGA’s are the offended group. Surprise! Now we know more about it -and i still think that “Catholic School” needs to do a better job on civics and “Christian ethics”. Of course Catholic Schools have always been at the forefront of segregation – on the wrong side of course.

The temptation to wipe that smirk off of that kid’s face was strong indeed. He should be ashamed.

Word is the kid has already issued an explanation (not an apology. An “explanation.”) through a public relations firm.

Wish my mommy and daddy could buy me a public relations firm every time I fucked up as a teenager.

It is still baffling that here in the 21st century, racist, bigoted, hateful religions like christianity still has its grasp on people. Even the slowest and least educated should be advanced enough to have developed a semblance of empathy and intelligence that makes superstitions an embarrassing footnote in human evolution.

The photo in the NY Times of Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky, address 1600 Dixie Highway, shows that their mascot is an individual that looks like a Civil War (My Bad: that’s the War of Northern Aggression) Officer wearing a Butternut Hat. Looks to be a real inclusive school.

Funny how it took the MAGAotts 3 DAYS to fabricate a story that these punks are the innocent ones…

You know, I saw the WHOLE film. Watch it. This was preceded by Black Israelites – ADULTS who are RAVING anti-Semites – yelling insults, racial slurs, and “f@gg*ts” at high school students.

Not ONE WORD of condemnation for that. Instead, the villain of the piece is a high school kid who grinned. He doesn’t even speak.

He may be a jerk and I hate his stupid hat, but this was preceded by open, prolonged, LOUD bigotry, and it’s hard to find a word about it, while this is viral.

Homeland theft. Pretty much why the concept “Homeland” doesn’t show up TOO often in international law…

@Stephen Runnels……While there are many “so-called” Christians in this world, who praise Jesus and then condemn their fellow human for not looking and thinking just like them; there are also real Christians in this world who try to treat everyone as their neighbor (as Jesus taught) recognizing that everyone is a child of God and respecting the rights of people of other religions to practice their beliefs.

That’s a problem with the speed of “reporting” these days. By the time this cartoon went to “print” the truth about the situation had been revealed.

I recommend everyone read this article:

For me, it supported my initial impression. I never once read anything about it when it happened. To me, it looked like a nothingburger.

How did the native Americans get to this continent?

Well—let’s see. The ancestors of today’s Native Americans wandered over in three separate streams from Asia. They found an empty land and occupied it from Canada to Argentina. So I suppose the government of China could assert a claim. But before we do that we have trace all civilizations back in time to who was there first and return the land to them. But that’s not the way it works, unfortunately. Manifest Destiny and all that sort of stuff. The Native Americans were still in the stone age (what’s the word for “wheel” in any Indian language; although the Cherokee had a written language) when a superior civilization arrived. Ask the victims of how many empires over the last 5,000 years how reality works.

The Washington Post ran a story about this “victim” native American, but was too lazy to find their own story from the 1990s where he jumped a fence and inserted himself among a group of college kids to be “victimized.” It’s surfaced….

The NY Times now says it was “more complicated” than they first thought. Translation…the media was exposed peddling fake news yet again…

Let’s see, an adult shill paid to instigate accosts a minor student trying to get him to react and get pissy about the young man’s strength of character to just smile in the face of adversity so the shill cries “racism”. This paid actor is not a Vietnam Veteran, he was born in 1955 so was too young to go to Vietnam by the time the USA pulled out. He saw the youths were not responding the way he wanted to the black youths (I don’t know if they were youths or adults) taunting them so he tried to escalate the situation into a riot to make the whiteys look bad. It backfired. Nathan Phillips is a paid instigator, a bully, and a liar. He should be in jail for accosting a minor and if the 4 blacks yelling racist taunts at the whiteys were adults, so should they. This cartoonist is a bit racist and is just trying to get in on the $$.

I don’t know which is more irresponsible: a political cartoonist who makes a hateful cartoon before he has the truth, or a panel of comics editors who, after the true facts are revealed, decides to run the erroneous cartoon anyone.

GoComics, I guess you win today.

What is most sad about all this is how people on both the right and the left believe what they want to believe, no matter the facts. Just reading the posts above has proven it to me again.

He went straight from boot to the Reserves. 4 years all stateside. Discharged as a Private. Not even a PFC.

His record shows he was an electrician with some references to refrigeration technician. He has a string of UA and AWOL tags which probably explains why he discharged as a buck private.

I would like to remind everyone that the so-called “native Americans” came here either over the Bering Land Bridge or across the Atlantic in boats as early as up to 40,000 years ago. So even the “native Americans” were immigrants! so, if you migrate to another area and claim it as your own, why can’t other peoples migrate from another area and claim the same as their own? This cannot be proved, but it is logical. So, the “native Americans” we see today might not have been the first ones here!

Watch the complete video of the incident (not just the few second clip the progressive media wants you to see) and you will find that:

    1. Mr. Phillips approached the group of students, they did NOT surround him. He lied.

    2. Mr. Phillips was not harrassed by ANY of these kids while he tried to provoke the kid by banging the drum in his ear and shouting (with spittle flying) at him. He lied.

    3. The kid stood there and took everything Mr. Phillips aimed at him and only smiled as an attempt to disarm the situation.

Mr. Phillips is NOT a Vietnam Vet. He lied. He IS an activist for his people which is commendable. However, his actions and lies in this instance have caused death threats and harassment of an innocent young man and his family. There is no excuse for that.

The progressive media wants you to believe that the kids were the punks and totally in the wrong when Phillips was the aggressor from the get-go.
