Umm Voltaire, when men brag about their creativity in bed, that’s not what they’re talking about.

If the original Tin Man actor Buddy Epsen had a respiratory reaction to the make-up before Jack Haley took over, how did Haley, Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, and even the dog Terry react to the “snow”? I also would’ve thought it to be mashed potato flakes or soap flakes.

Not the most healthy way to film The Wizard of Oz. I wonder how they did the tornado scene.

Take care and may God bless.

Another BIoN, there was also a silent version of The Wizard of Oz made in 1925. It’s supposedly closer to the L Frank Baum story line.

Glinda the Good Witch was worried that field of poppies might catch fire.

Voltaire had inky pillows. His fitted was in way worse shape.

The snow in the Bing Crosby classic White Christmas was also made from white asbestos. You could also buy it as “artificial snow” in the 20’s and 30’s…

I would call a litter of kittens a “litter”.

I read someplace once that those designations for animal groupings are not official. For example, serious ornithologists just say " a flock of crows, " not a “murder” as people like to believe.

Having read Voltaire, there was more than just ‘comfort’ taking place in that bed…
