I used to work in a building where the “art” in the hallways was purchased by the corporation. As near as I could tell it was nothing but nicely framed carpet remnants. Luann doesn’t worry me too much.
It represents the inherent loneliness of people as they live surrounded by a sea of human indifference. The toilet paper roll with the spring sticking out of it drives the point home.
