Somebody forgot to look both ways. The driver apparently didn’t see the snow-monster walk onto the road either…

I wonder what Lio would have done if he had seen what was going on behind him?

Sniiff. Sniff. I remember when my stinky ol big sister told me there was no such thing as Santa. Ruined last Christmas. This Christmas I discovered snow bunnies but my mean ol wife won’t let me touch them.

“See today’s and the last few Calvin and Hobbes.”

I don’t know if that was intentional on the part of Tatulli or not (a homage of sorts at worst). I’ll borrow a line from Hobbes, then: “A casualty of applied metaphysics.”

Last I knew, Culkin was teen age chain smoking fodder for the tabloids. Earlier than the current crop of disasters with no cell phone pictures to haunt him. I think he’s now a “serious actor.” Which means his twenty something self pops up in “independent” films.

It seems like it would have been more in keeping with Lio’s character to have the dude stay in a deepfreezer in the garage.

I expect that this would be an animated movie. Kinda hard to imagine, either way. Has there ever been a Calvin & Hobbes movie?

jackdohany: Bill Watterson is legendary for his refusal to fully exploit “Calvin and Hobbes”, turning down millions that could have been made from merchandising over the years. I’m sure there were offers for TV specials and movies as well.

I’m not judging right and wrong, but I can certainly respect his decision to let Calvin and Hobbes stand alone as the comic strip.
