Robert Mueller and Nancy Pelosi are starting the New Year strong and are going to see some big changes. Then the Democrats will start sorting through a deep bench of strong talent and hopefully hold the party together and find unity and common ground as the field gets whittled down to the finalists.
Changes are coming, and there is going to be a lot of whining and crying in Trump tweets for 2019. For the first time in his spoiled life, he is going to finally be held accountable, and grownups are going to be telling spoiled little Donnie a firm NO!
What could go right? We could have a functional House of Representatives with 100% participation and genuine compromise finally resolving issues that benefit everyone and exclude no one.
“All glory is fleeting.” The first thing the Democrats must do is to restore the government and get government workers paid and re-hired. Then they can start on the job of taking down Trump.
