When I was that age I was skinny…NO body fat for insulation. I would last about five minutes out playing in the snow before I started to turn blue. I still hate snow and cold. That’s why I live in Phoenix.
When I was a little girl, we had bushes growing next to the driveway. My Dad kept them trimmed so there was a space at the bottom. When it snowed, the tops would get snow but the underneath would be clear. Then my Dad would shovel the driveway and pile the snow around the bushes so my brother and I could make a snow cave. I could sit under those bushes, surrounded by snow, for hours. I might be the only person that remembers the snowstorm of 1978 with a smile. There’s nothing like sitting in a cave under the snow listening to the quiet hiss of snow falling above you.

Woo Hoo!. My dogs would be right in there with him. I would happily be inside preparing the obligatory hot chocolate and dog biscuits.

Using work lights in a snow tunnel seems a recipe for disaster.
