Very few stores here have tap and many of the chip readers don’t work.
Interesting. I’ve seen it a lot in Europe, but I’ve never heard it called “tap”… or even given a name.

question: if you walk past a card reader that automatically charges your card with the purchases you hold on your way out and someone else walks near the card reader at the same time, whose card is charged? sounds like trouble brewing to me…
