My daughter’s both play a number of instruments. One plays flute and she was practicing for a youth orchestra, she was allowed music and played a piece from start to finish, done. Next was a violin player and that was the type of instruction that girl was given; “Please start at the tenth bar, 5th note from….” I just starred at my wife.

True story: A news reporter friend of mine covered the Kentucky Derby a few years ago. He stood next to a news team from Japan as the band played “My Old Kentucky Home.” One of the Japanese reporters turned to my friend and asked, “Was that ‘Old Black Joe’?”
