Who got the idea of thinking that using the outcome of a thoughtless emotionally driven winner-take-all referendum would magically produce a workable solution? Nationalism with an already diverse population, in an already interdependent international economy, does not make much sense when you take the time to think about, does it?
It was basically the same as the Trump vote. The upper class conservatives conned the working folks to vote against their interests to "stop all the undesirable brown people’ from gaining entry. Not like there isn’t millions already there. “Of course Dear, they(arabs) are buying up London.”
