If earthly success for messiahs is his criterion maybe it’s Trump who’s a secret Muslim. Incidentally, Muslims don’t believe that Jesus was crucified. You can see how that among other things would have been/could be problematic for Christians.
Fact-based refutations are like responding to Trump’s propaganda war machete hacks with a dishrag. Trump’s disciples absolutely despise objective reality, and especially delight in attacking it when it’s expressed in a reasonable voice.
Democrats need to appoint Alan Grayson as their spokesman. His description of Republican health care was right on target: 1) Don’t get sick. 2) If you get sick, die quickly.
When you think about it, it’s kind of funny. Just imagine that in his own clumsy way, Trump mistakenly tweeted that. The bedlam that would ensue would be more chaotic than a Marx Brothers movie. Liberals would fall all over themselves trumpeting it from every available platform. Conservatives would sprain themselves rationalizing it and in the end, the evangelicals, with a straight face, would explain how Trump was actually right. then for weeks, we would get to hear for all the Trump supporters how once again, they owned the libtards.

What’s next? Will he refuse to pardon the Thanksgiving turkey because it was raised by a liberal?

Yeah, well conservative Christians don’t really like the Jesus of the Bible anyway. They’d rather worship Reagan, the Supply Side Jesus.

Interesting to read Rall thinks the crucifixion is a fact.

I vote for changing the name from the United States of America to the Miasma of Slime. Seems much more fitting for our times, no?
