Odon. That is the right shade for what comes out of our dear leader’s mouth on a much too regular basis.

    Toast until smoke is seen

    Look for dark bits

Push the lever back down. That toast won’t be done for a couple more years.

You need a new toaster (election process) … this one’s clearly defective.

The G.O.P. is a dead (or at least dying) political party. In 2016 it claimed a membership of 32% of the American electoral population, in 2018 that number was down to 26% and shrinking. The remaining members are fanatically loyal to one Donald John Trump!

This means, among other things, that ANYONE claiming to “be” a Republican is admitting complete acquiescence and adherence to everything that Donnie stands for – and what Donnie truly stands for is a narcissistic, misogynistic, bigoted racist and basically xenophobic view of the world. Republicans may no longer stand apart and condemn Donnies thoughts and actions while, at the same time, applauding his policies! We are WAY beyond that point!

As Republicans, you “own” Donald John Trump, right down to his ‘bone spurs’!

By the way, the Trump Rallies should start up again any time now, because, like an addict, Donnie is addicted to the adoration of the crowds and, as a grade school playground bully he NEEDS that adulation to offset his deep seated feelings of inferiority which are threatening to consume his fragile little ego!

Which leaves the Republicans in 2020 with a base that will rebel if Trump doesn’t get the nomination, and it’s difficult to think of a currently living person who wouldn’t win against him in the general election. The Democratic primaries are going to have to be held in a football stadium just to hold the candidates.

Guess I’m missing something. Did not the GOP gain seats in the Senate; you know, that body that confirms Supreme Court nominees.

Democrats, The Left, Liberals….tend not to be aware of the thing that is most problematic…that any victory of the “Left” will be met with a force or strategy, subterfuge that will wipe out that victory. Republicans out politic the left…very easily. Already the evil Mitch McConnell has called for cooperation…shifted his verbiage to defensive instead of a steady stream of offensive attacks. Republicans will step back and take a swing, a jab, and bob and weave, and knock out any victory that the Left has accomplished….if, if the Left is so naive as to not know how to be a savvy politician as well as an honest representative.Republican leadership has the intel….what will be their strategy for 2020? How will they set the table starting next week…to battle the new Democratic House Majority? Will they send their spies in to set up internal conflict…then exploit it in the media for 24 months eroding the current momentum? Play the placating “good-guy” for 24 months? Will they sacrifice Trump to hold on to the Senate and the Oval Office? One thing for sure…they, the Republican Party is not going to go away…and they are not going to go away quietly.
