There are times when I take a bubble bath, I forget the water is hot. So I have to drain the tub and fill the tub with nearly cold water at the same time until it’s just right and then plug it back up so I can get in.

I believe that for literally the first time in my life I’m totally alone on Christmas Day, everyone I love and who loves me is in some far corner of the globe, but the internet rocks. I have a fire burning, the dog is asleep on the carpet, I’m looking out at a river and an Oregon forest, I am very content and at peace. Merry Christmas to all of you Calvin fans!
