Word, hell. I’m still using some version of WordPerfect, it’s incredibly good, very efficient. Unfortunately, only the doctors and lawyers in my life can open it without using their Word program to convert it. But, fortunately for me at this stage in my life (really happily retired), I’m not on a professional basis with many doctors and lawyers, so emailing works fine with those who are friends. WordPerfect, baby!

Mike might get as lucky as I did if he looks around. I got to work 3 summers in a row as a construction laborer, made union wages of $3.87-1/2 an hour and worked my a** off for that money. Eventually I became an architect and never forgot how hard, dangerous and expensive it is to build something.
You’re totally correct, Clover. And when an airline loses your luggage the rep at the lost luggage counter is not your enemy, he/she is your new best friend. Mike’s learning an important lesson here.
My younger sister had a close girl friend from a really wealthy family. After the young woman got married she was shocked to find out that they had to pay for water, electricity and garbage pick up. At least the husband knew how to get a bill paid.

Speaking as a retired architect who really uses his eyes, nothing looks better on adult women of any age than styled silver hair, any length she thinks she looks best in.
I haven’t seen or heard the word “fink” in years.
I agree with that, timbob. Stuffing all over the house in way too short a time. And the toy he really likes is $17 a pop.
