Fight your way to the polls and remember which party has supporters that bomb people, shoot up their churches and have hate rallies. Ask yourself, what is history going to make of that?

Trump’s breaking wind again.

Blow hard…with a vengeance! Where’s Bruce Willis when we need him?

Put a wall between you and Trump, vote out every Republican and put some checks and balances on the right wing disaster.

The question is whether there are enough people who still love the founding principles of a constitutional democratic republic to change the US direction away from the male white supremacist nationalist oligarchy direction that it is currently heading in.

Talk about an ill wind.

The storm of the century…so far.

The summer was “stormy” enough.

trumps knows what works.. and that.. is a sad state of affairs for the reasonable folk left in the US of A

VOTE!!! VOTE!!! VOTE!!!

First Trump came for the womenAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not a woman.

Then Trump came for the people with disabilitiesAnd I did not speak outBecause I did not have a disability.

Then Trump came for the African AmericansAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not African American.

Then Trump came for the MexicansAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not Mexican.

Then Trump came for the MuslimsAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not Muslim.

Then Trump came for the gay, bi, and trans peopleAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not gay, bi or trans.

Then Trump came for the journalistsAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not a journalist.*

Then Trump came for the judgesAnd I did not speak outBecause I was not a judge.

And now Trump is coming for the Constitution of the United StatesAnd if I do not speak out, what am I?

“They that sow the wind, shall reap the whirlwind.” Hosea 8:7 (KJV).

Still—they (and we) persist.

Do your homework; find out what each candidate on your ballot stands for as well as their ethics; base your vote on that information, not necessarily on a political party. We need less division along party lines (and less division in general) and more ethical, moral, educated and thoughtful people as our representatives. Remember, they are our representatives, not our leaders.

You do not have to rule the world; you just have to keep the world from ruling you. Fight back with a bit of compassion here, an act of kindness there and a kind word in the other place. Together, we can weather this storm
