Blindly following GPS instructions has been fatal several times, especially in winter.

If a machine tells you when to turn, you never know where you are; read a map & be aware! (And, in the case of the cartoon, make it a topographical amp, and look at a compass, too.)

It’s one thing to see it on a map and quite another to be there.

Looks like an old crater, maybe just a decade old.

Could be he and the dog got to exactly where they were aiming. It’s beautiful.

There’s nothing quite like a USGS map, otherwise you might find yourself stuck on 23N01.

But look at what you have found!

Enjoy it while you have it. Eventually, one way or another it will change.

I wonder whether seen in a picture or having been there. It looks to be a real place.
