The office of the President. The U.S. Senate and House. The Supreme Court. The U.S. Attorney General, the EPA, the departments of Education and Justice. Yes, the Federal swamp has indeed been drained of all trustworthiness and credibility. One can’t help but struggle to see how our nation is, in any significant manner, distinct from the corrupt and dysfunctional dictatorships, monarchies and banana republics that have all failed and fallen by the wayside throughout the centuries. It just took us a little bit longer than the rest.
Isn’t it strange that the FBI is AWFUL, DISLOYAL, and EVIL when they are investigating Trump’s Criminal Family and His Russian Associates, but they are GREAT when he wants them to spin the truth about the drunken rapist he wants to force onto the SCOTUS??
Our only hope is that we have a Blue Wave in November and that, then, the Democrats in Congress will call for a true investigation of Kavanaugh and of the Departments that have been cannibalized by this Administration.
In November we will learn whether or not we have any Integrity in our electoral system and in our Democratic Republican government or if we have become a true dictatorship….

It’s what people like Masterskrain and I have been saying all along. Trump is bad, but the responsibility for him rests right on McConnell and his corruption of the Republican party and through that the nation. And he’s proud of it! One can hardly find anyone else quite this corrupt.
Though Republicans are now railing against political activists, even accusing them of being all paid by Soros, (I am still looking for my check), actually political activists have an important role to play. Many Americans believe in a sanitized version of the civil rights movement, not realizing how intensely political activists had to disrupt the usual norms of our culture and political discourse in order to get rid of the Jim Crow era. We would still be there if it weren’t for the actions of a brave number of political activists.
