We still have a landline. It doesn’t need to be recharged, and I always know exactly where it is. And when Eldest Daughter tells us what she spends for her cell service, I laugh and laugh.
Does anyone actually USE the archaic and poorly developed Siri? She may have been first in the voice assistant, but holy moly she’s a dreadful albatross nowadays.

I have a land line and a WiFi hotspot device. I barely use either, but when the power goes off both are working.
