Part of the attraction for many Evangelicals, I think, is that their take on Christianity supports dominating and controlling women in any way possible. It’s nice to wake up in the morning knowing that you are better than and in charge of 51% of the human race, and that they should do whatever you say. Oh, and they have to have to submit to you sexually, which saves a lot of time and trouble.
You guys – I don’t think that the Republicans should be allowed to use elephants as their party mascot anymore. Elephants are noble creatures and way too good for them. I would like to suggest mosquitoes.
