When I’m in UK with my left-hand-drive car and my dog sits on my right, I can see people doing a double take

Could be worse. You could be stuck in a cage in the back of a pickup.

Nothing worse than being treated like extra baggage!

SUV? Looks more like the Honda Tight Fit.

When the option is getting boarded, economy class doesn’t seem so bad.

Poor thing. He’d have been more comfortable if they’d packed the suitcases neatly to give him more room. And maybe a bed on top of said neat suitcases. And then he could be right behind Mom and Dad.

My shiba is always in the passenger seat next to me – and such a good boy. He sits the whole time, glancing at me like “I’m so happy to be here”!

My husband sits in the back with his puppy who is still learning car manners. He trains his dog, and it is pretty funny… the puppy is all over the place. Now he has a harness and he is not going to be happy.

I take my Puggle for a drive every day. He sits like a little kid watching the scenery from his vantage point: fluffed up on a pillow, in the passenger seat… perhaps looking for a friend to boast that he’s inside the car. They are going for a walk.

Pets should never be up front even if there’s room; if there’s an accident and the airbag is deployed, they can be seriously injured since you know they aren’t buckled in and sitting in the seat like a human.

My large black dog Bella sits up front, in the passenger seat, when we go places together. I have often thought about putting sunglasses and a hat on her, as she sits up and looks straight ahead as we go down the road.
