Hmmmm..coining words is a fun exercise they don’t encourage in school..that’s probably how they came up with the term…spelunking…the exploration of caves…all they could think of was ….‘splat’ and ‘lunkhead’ for those who failed to finish their attempt.
Breakfast comes before Lunch hence Brunch. But, if breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, whey didn’t they use more letters from it? Breach?
