I’ve heard a cow let loose with a mournful sounding cry.

I remember those things. They DO make the saddest noise in the world!

In hindsight, childhood really is very depressing. #BoycottChildhood

He’s feeling sorry for a great big cow being stuck in such a small can. Similar to Prince Albert in a Can.

When I first checked out Cul De Sac the drawing style turned me off. Then I read the dialog…

I was aware of Richard’s work from his political caricatures in the old print edition of U.S. News & World Report, to which I subscribed, though I did not know him by name until I began reading this wonderful comic strip, Cul de Sac , here and in Arcamax Comics. I came to know more about him as time went on and especially after he was afflicted with Parkinson’s Disease. He was a true genius, and we lost him far too soon (he was only 58).

Dill is a sensitive boy. The rest of the pre-schoolers are only beginning to share his angst!
