Came here via spiral::bound (https://medium.com/spiralbound) on Medium. Joined because of Olivia Jaimes' "Nancy". Long time comics fan. Progression goes something like this: strip comics in the NY Daily News > Harvey comics > Mad magazine > Cracked > Underground comics (R. Crumb, etc) > National Lampoon > Eisner, Pekar, Spiegelman, etc. > Fatagraphics Titles > Perry Bible Fellowship and now spiral::bound on Medium.

Skinks are bad at math. I bet it just wants to draw a maze.

Jeeez, another sanctimonious school-marm of a fish. Like we need more of them.

I follow Bushmiller classic on a page I set up with just the two Nancy comics. Just this morning Bushmiller has a strip about Nancy “swooning” for child star Buster Biggs. I thought, “OJ should have Nancy comment on the influencers and YouTube stars she is emulating.” I guess I am eager for OJ the end the current drought. To paraphrase SIOTI, they can’t all be winners, you know. Like Zorak950 above, I think today’s is a good strip, but I wanted to acknowledge the recent slump.

There are different depictions of centaurs. On some of the earliest Greek vases they are fully human with a horse just sort of stuck on the back, kind of like this comic. I guess the earliest depictions are really sort of stick figures. The human torso merged at the waist with body of a horse depiction is, I think, later.

Man, I could write that comics editor a fan letter. That is a huge upgrade. I like the fact that they are supporting their in-state talent. Liniers lives in Vermont? Who knew?
