A lot of new parents are refusing to get their kids smart phones today after hearing and seeing all the bad affects social media are causing on young children. If they need a phone for contacts some are opting for flip phones.
All 3 look bored, with nothing in the backyard, gets bored easily. For me, Sunday’s are boring after church. Comics help. Catching up on taped programs help, and reading a book helps.
I saw a Hi & Lois comic from the late ’50’s. The family was on vacation in the car. The dad was telling the kids to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The kids, meanwhile, in the back seat were all glued to their magazines and comic books. People don’t change, just the technology.

Andy and the girls should be outside within a no-wifi zone… like the Columbia River Gorge.

You did OK. They aren’t in front of the TV, and those benches are hard, so they won’t sit long.

And they are getting fresh air and sunshine — not that they appreciate it.

You don’t have to be young to be guilty of that.
I was at the seawall at Depoe Bay whale watching last week when i caught myself reaching for my phone to see what the email i just got was.
I think that im going to have to turn off the vibrate, as well as the sound for emails. Most of it is just junk anyway.

I’m surprised to see Alix like that.

So what are the two adults going to do? Just sick and yak about nothing? What a stupid, INSIPID strip this became.

Staring at a screen does not seem to be something Alix would do… she’s more of a “nature girl”.

To me church is boring so I never go. I’ve better things to do to keep myself busy.
