    Van cats (from Van, Turkey) are an exception; they love swimming. Even with other domesticated cats, it’s a matter of what they’re brought up with. If introduced to water as kittens, they usually love swimming, and playing in sprinklers (neighbors of my Aunt Jane “called” their cat by turning on the yard sprinklers).

    I’m now trying to imagine Marigold in a slingkini…and experiencing brain overload.

    I’m guessing a Mack Sennett 1890s bathing beauty costume instead. :D
