We are no longer a 2 party country, we are two parties in a single country. Voting for vengeful Democrats will do no more than create a vengeful Republican backlash in 2020 assuring the resident 4 more years. Vote for those who will heal the rift, not those who will make it worse. If we do not find a way to communicate and compromise on both sides, the republic will end. Other countries are surpassing us in education, heal care, and efficient government while we waste time and money fighting each other. It doesn’t have to be that way.

My bet is Mueller will not exceed his mandate. Which means he will not indict the President. Mueller will issue an extensive report and then it will be up to Congress to act upon it. As we all know, if Republicans are still in power, they will ignore and undermine the findings. They are complicit in trumps crimes.

It comes down to the voting citizen to put in a Congress that will stand up to the corruption that is the trump crime family. Vote Democrat in November.

    Opinion from a real conservative:

How I miss Obamaby Max Boot July 20 (foreign policy adviser to both the McCain and Romney campaigns)

“It can be depressing to think about our current predicament under a president whose loyalty to America is suspect but whose racism and xenophobia are undoubted. However, Obama’s speech gave me a glimmer of optimism — and not only because he cited Mandela’s “example of persistence and of hope.” He reminds me that just 18 months ago — can you believe it was so recently? — we had a president with whom I could disagree without ever doubting his fitness to lead. We can have one again.”

Putting all your eggs in one basket has proven to be bad advice for eons. The trump will spin his magic to suppress anything that comes from the Mueller probe.

My hope is that Mueller won’t show his cards until it is prudent to do so.

Always amusing to see that particular artistic style of campaign poster. It is so absolutely appropriate for the left.

    Are you Putin me on?

Hope is on the left, despair, greed and racism is on the right.

Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov, a former KGB agent defected to Canada in 1970.In 1984, Bezmenov gave an interview to G. Edward Griffin from which much can be learned today. His most chilling point was that there’s a long-term plan put in play by Russia to defeat America through psychological warfare and “demoralization”. It’s a long game that takes decades to achieve but it may already be bearing fruit.

“What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.”

“They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You can not change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.”

One of the trolls was again whining about the Uranium One deal.

The whine is also ridiculous because the deal involved only a fraction of the US production, which was more than offset by the deal the US worked out in the 90s to buy 500 tonnes of Russian weapons grade uranium.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megatons_to_Megawatts_Program

    Let’s do the math again.

Weapons grade Uranium is enriched to over 90% U235, whereas in naturally mined uranium (the kind in the Uranium One deal) there is 0.7% U235.

    0.9*500=450 tonnes U235

.9/0.007 =128.5 (enrichment factor for weapons grade U235 from Uranium Ore)

Equivalent ore mined to get 450 tonnes U235 = 450*128.5 =58,000 tonnes ore.

US annual production rate of Uranium ore: varies, but I’ll use 2000 tonnes for an average.

So that 500 tonnes we got represents 29 years of the entire US production of Uranium.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranium_mining_in_the_United_States

But the deal was for what, 20%? So now we’re talking about 145 years for the Russians to getback the uranium needed to make 500 tonnes of weapons grade uranium.

Meanwhile, that 500 tonnes has been converted to 15,000 tonnes of fuel grade uranium for US reactors.

The assumption implicit in the troll argument is that all the Uranium goes to Russia. It is not supposed to do so. Did they cheat. Probably. It’s Vlad’s Russia after all. But Trump trusts Vlad’s word!
