A true gentleman, he actually took the tire off of the wheel.

Boy, she’ll really be tired by the time she gets to the bathroom (or the more appropriate term toilet in Billy Ray’s shop!)

That’s a step up compared to the rest area about 75 miles west of Salt Lake City out in the desert. Water had to be hauled in so you can imagine the conditions!

Man this thing’s heavy. If only there was another way to move it, like along the ground. Maybe push… or scoot it? I dunno… these corners….

Judging from the front desk, I’d hate to see the bathroom.

Some stand-up comic had a heinously bad pun about what to call the rim they chain the restroom key to, I didn’t write it down, and I’ve been trying to recreate it for about a decade and a half.

That’s what wire cutters are for. But still return the key without the tire.

Many years ago while I was on a vacation with my parents, we made a stop at a gas station that had an outside restroom.When I went inside to get the key the man handed me a big heavy tire rim that had the key attached to the rim with a very thick piece of wire. I’ll never forget it. True Story !

Many of those in their dotage years, remember Mother Nature providing the rest rooms of yore. I have been told by a few that to use said facilities now will get one arrested for exposure.

It’s unlikely that Billy Ray would be in this part of California.

This kind of place is one good reason to stay married, to send my husband to deal with that stuff…
