The Earth herself is weeping and so are her occupants.

I have come to the conclusion that our elected officials are incapable of having children. I already had doubts as to whether they have reproductive organs or a spine. However, who would rape the ecology and economy to the extent they have and leave that world to their children? “Apres moi, le deluge.” No concern at all for future generations.

It has been said, true patriotism is more than defending the land of our fathers; it is preserving it for our children.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-5…… Pete Seegar wrote the melody, The Byrds took it from there. The lyrics credit on the single was " the Book of Ecclesiastes", from the best-selling book of all time.

Let us take a moment to reflect on a note of joy amidst the "weeping and gnashing of teeth. Namely the events in Thailand over the past week.

Like about 7 billion other people, I am happy with the outcome. But what impresses me more was the heroism of the divers who risked (and in one case lost) their lives over and over, day after day. None of them were fathers to those boys but yet they considered them their children. I am glad to see that part of human nature still lives in some people.
