The list of stuff Lumpy HATES about her is really frighting…to people who actually believe in Civilization and Humanity.

Medicare For All, Housing As a Human Right, A Federal Jobs Guarantee, Criminal Justice Reform, End Private Prisons, Immigration Justice / Abolish ICE, Solidarity with Puerto Rico, Mobilizing Against Climate Change, Clean Campaign Finance, Higher Education for All, Women’s Rights, Support LGBT, Support Seniors, Curb Wall Street Gambling: Restore Glass Steagall.

Y’all do realize that she is basically mainstream for western Europeans. It’s only here that she would be seen as far Left.

Looking at her list, one wonders about the sanity of Hannity!

The Democratic Party needs to start running candidates that inspire people to come out to vote. Mitch McConnell was vulnerable in his last election, but tthe Dems ran Grimes who said things like “I love guns! I love coal!” If you have a Senator that has the power to bring pork back to your state, why would you vote for a newbie saying the same thing?

There are places where Ocasio-Cortez would not be able to be elected, so the Dems need to determine what the people in the city, district, state want. Novel idea – become an actual REPRESENTATIVE of the people.

I was amused but not surprised when it was revealed (by a British newspaper) that the newest Socialist member of the Dems lied about her background.

Who would have thought she was a child of wealth? She has the downtrodden patter down perfectly.

I hate to pop your bubble, but the rules you are complaining about were created by Chuck Schumer in 2013. The only change McConnell made was to extend the filibuster ban to SCOTUS appointments.

You have only the Dems to blame.

Yeah, I just returned from Canada where I met a Canadian Trump supporter. We argued about Donnie Dumpsterfire, and how the US of A isn’t actually “Number One” in the world; plenty of other countries have better health care, more realistic social policies, etc. etc. His reply was “But do you really want to live in a Welfare State?”

“Yes. Yes I do. At least in a W.S. you get what your taxes pay for.”

Ocasio-Cortez was born in the Bronx and moved to a regular home when she was 5 because her parents worked hard so she could go to better schools. I guess she was supposed to grow up in a squalid tenement for the RW to say she came from a working class background. She went to BOSTON University, not Brown as the liars claim.

Andylit, Harry Reid changed the rules in the Senate after the Republicans abused it beyond belief. They would delay nominees, many of them ended up getting approved unanimously once they came up for a vote. This shows it was obstructionism. Changing the rule for SCOTUS was going way too far considering the obstructionism against moderate Garland and the importance of the Supreme Court.
