Honestly?

I’m not sure that middle gutter entirely works without at least a partial line where the panel border would usually go …

… though I recognize the intent that “Angelic” and “Demonic” Sedine overlap/extend into each other’s space.

Panel #1 is very much early “As The World Turns” …

Let’s list all the sources Ellie can get help from: 1.) Sedine, 2.) Charlene, 3.) Mrs. Edith… Yet Sedine is the only one who didn’t get married because of a bun in the oven. Funny Charlene and Edith have that in common, but Charlene is at least nice.

Is Sedine gonna take Ellie to Roy’s mom? I’d actually like to see that, but I’m certain she’d try to fix her up with one of her other sons, like any mother of the year would. XD

If Ellie thinks Sedine is a Life Saver, let’s hope she doesn’t start sucking on her.

Notice the lack of steam on Ellie’s cup. She must load up on sugar and cream (yuk). Sedine’s cup looks like a volcano – no sugar and probably black (oorah).

As awkward as Panel Four may feel, Sedine, one must remember… No risk, no reward.

I love how the writing on Sedine’s coffee mug changes from “Hi” to (possibly) “Hell” in the third panel. Very early Garry Trudeau in “Doonesbury.”

Hmmm… a de-pulchritudified Ellie may finally permit a certain pulchritudephobe to approach her without suffering hysteric overload. Has anyone alerted Harlequin publishers?

Don’t forget today is Independence Day. Grab the steak, put on grill, add Zucchini, grilled potatoes/garlic, and Cauliflower, beer and wine, grab the movie “Independence Day”, stir well and enjoy.
