I went to the store yesterday and saw 2 floor displays of flag paper plates and napkins. It just boggles my mind that the people who think it’s okay to eat off the flag and wipe their dirty mouths and hands on the flag are some of the very same people who think kneeling in protest in front of the flag is disrespectful.

Animal abuse. Poor snakes, I wish they had stuck Pruitt, Giuliani and Conway in there instead. As for the flag, too late, it’s been dirty since Jan 20th 2017. Folks, be sure to wash it clean this November.

I heard Donald “Respect My Flag” Trump was born on flag day which might explain why he thinks he can desecrate the spirit of it all he wants since it belongs to him.

I wish the water level were higher—we don’t need to see a plumber’s crack. (Speaking of the water, if there happen to be any Russian hookers down there, you have to wonder why it’s not kinda yellowish…………)

Every day a new flag is raised over the capital. A few years ago I read that the flags were made in China. There was a resolution or law passed stating that all flags flown over the capital have to be made in the USA. I think the company is in Kentucky or someplace. Not too clear on all the details. This was 5-6 years ago I think. You can request or buy a flag that has been flown over the capital for your own use. When I was in the ARMY we had a whole section on the history, traditions and treatment of the flag. If you get out of basic training not knowing how to treat the flag you weren’t paying attention! I miss those days. If you were driving off post or outside when retreat was being played you stopped, got out of your car faced the flag and saluted or put your hand over your heart while the flag was being lowered.
