Given how obscenely anti-historical the so-called Pocahontas movie was, I can’t help wondering which movie was actually WORSE. After all, American kids know Pocahontas was a real person, but not necessarily how completely fictionalized the movie is.
What has me curious is how did she get it? I remember back when video stores were a thing they were pretty strict about IDs or in the case of my local one they’d call the parents on the account to ask if it’s okay for the kid to rent R-rated movies.
Never liked “Seven.” Watched it mainly because I enjoyed most Morgan Freeman movies I had seen up to then. I found the ending to be “meh!” Like they realized they didn’t want the movie to be too long or they were starting to exceed the budget and just tacked it on.

any non-millennials remember video rental stores before there was On Demand or Netflix?

I remember seeing that film exactly once. It was terribly violent, I’ll never watch it again.

I even remember that the tapes had a “Be kind—Rewind note in the box.

Pocahontas made a movie before she entered Congress?

This is why Hollywood works so hard to avoid a “G” rating on their movies.

The best thing about video stores was watching rather sheepish people, emerging from the curtained “Adult” section.

Of course if Peter did this he’d be grounded.
