Perennial loser Charlie Trump once again fooled by Lucy Jong Un.
So much winning! (Buh bye, Nobel Peace Prize). Turns out this “art of the deal” was about as successful as the Loser in Chief’s four bankruptcies (six if you count the two that went bankrupt after Tumpy took all the cash out of business, sold them and then laughed as sucker buyers were left holding the very empty bag.
North Korea is a proverbial powder keg. A huge military with lots of reserves, and people who are short of food and most of everything else. Central pillars of the thought structure that keeps the Kim family in power is the belief that they must all be eternally vigilant against the ‘Evil’ United States, and that sacrifices have to be made to defend the country and the people. More important in this context is the that only the Kim family’s wisdom and bravery has allowed North Korea to remain unconquered.
What would the result be for Kim Jong-Un if you take out those pillars? Nothing good.
Barring some sort of carefully crafted deal, amazingly good and safe for Kim, the status quo is Kim’s safe bet.
This has to be proof to everyone, even Trump’s admirers, that you simply can’t trust a thing that comes out of that man’s mouth. All along everyone’s been convinced there will be a summit. Now there’s no summit. (..Reminds me of an Allman Brothers song.)
Heard former JCS Chairman Mike Mullen on NPR this morning. He was asked whether anything good has come out of the last year’s dealings with North Korea. He phrased it much more diplomatically, of course, but what it boiled down to is “Well, at least they’re not insulting each other so much any more; otherwise, essentially, no.”

The summit was very unlikely from the beginning.

The question really is, what the hell is wrong with the American people where the treasonous Liar-in-Chief’s poll numbers keep rising?

There’s room here for a mashup but I don’t suppose Stormy Daniels as Kim would have the same impact………….
