I read a story about an old time golf player. It seems that he played the game for decades. But he always had lousy luck in playing. And it seems that his luck lasted to the very end. For when it was time to bury the gentleman, it still took six or seven tries before they could sink his coffin in the hole.
There was a story in the papers a while back about a guy from Australia who narrowly missed getting hit by a meteor—twice. As he said, “It’s getting harder to find people who will play golf with me.”
