So who was conspiring with who? Who’s been making those phone calls to prospective victims? Who killed Cooper? Who set up Foxworthy? Who framed Heather Hoss?

Okay, Jacob. Time for some good old Pork-barrel and Hasenpfeffer Politics.

Follow up…….guess who Velda is working for??? Jacob just said it.

I think Jacob’s already been played for a fool for quite a while now. But it’s good to see him so resolute and we can only wish him well. Besides, he’s so cute looking all determined with those big front teeth!

Looks like the CCE are about to find out how badly they’ve misjudged Mayor J’s threat level.

So that’s it!? NOBODY did it? Boy…… Oh, wait. Maybe Nobody played him for a fool, but Somebody did the murders…. OR…. I don’t know….Third base.

So…maybe Mavis and the others helped Jacob to get rid of the Council, so that they could get rid of Jacob and seize power for themselves.

Ah… The old “ketamine in the purse” ploy.

Nobody plays me for a fool. Except Velda?

Read the dialogue folks. We have just been given a major clue. Inner Circle. Velda has accused Mavis of being a member of this power lurking behind the scenes. Velda is the real member doing their dirty work. She has now set the stage for a confrontation between rival power bases. This Inner Circle would love to get into power and weed out……the undesirables. The riff raff. Those not of a high enough breeding……like Velda. What stops them are the Rats. They don’t show favoritism. Their only allegiance is Endtown. Not a select group of privileged folks. Endtown is just on the edge of civil war. The Rats will come down to cull the herd so to say. This Inner Circle will launch an catching the Rats leaving the upper level undefended. Jacob is about to get an arrow in his back. Remember those folks of Unity considered themselves above everyone elsr. The Inner Circle in Endtown think the same way.

Velda has connections to get an anesthetic. I wonder if those same connections have been producing the poison that the pigs have been using to commit suicide?

So one of my guesses was correct. She did have a needle in her purse.

When Mavis comes to, she’s going to be barking mad…

Ectually, Jacob, methinks Velda is doing a fine job of playing you for a fool…

BTW, kudos to Rick D for pointing out Mavis at the victory party in Monday’s comments. Well spotted sir!

If Jake’s comment about the inner circle refers to his personal group of friends and power brokers, then he already knows who the others are that are working with Mavis for murdering the pigs. The questions are: How large is this inner circle? Is everyone in it complicit? How many of this inner circle have we already met?

The way the glasses were rendered on Jacob turned out very nicely. As for End town there are very few of them I like much these days. Doc, and The Angus, I miss besides Wally and friends I do miss Gustine and Al, Maude, The little robot, PT, it was cute. I still like Walt, maybe, and the Beaver. But not The Cleavers.

Except himself.

Still not sure. Maybe the inner circle is conspiring against Jacob. It is still not sure for they are behind both the murders and the newspaper plot. It could well be that Velda has something to to with the murders and tries to frame the inner circle for both. Trying to take both the inner circle and Jacob out of the game.

I still have my nagging doubts about Portia, and then there’s that lady pig lawyer. Don’t forget, pigs are meat eaters as well as wolves. I sense a serious twist approaching. Hang on to loose valuables and small children…

I can’t stop thinking that Cooper Hooper is not dead. We saw from his very first introduction way back in the beginning that he has the ability to completely remove his head. Why would a stab wound stop him? And if he was a member of the council trying to frame Foxworthy, it would make sense that Mavis would be threatened when Velda mentioned him. I think Velda was threatening to expose the council as the ones behind the pig murders.

Wait a minute. Mavis lies there drugged, probably in the same state as the victims of the pig murders…before they were carried off. Velda says she used ketamine. But maybe she used a sweet-smelling inhaled drug instead. Maybe she was part of that conspiracy, but has decided to burn them all instead.

Silly rabbit. Tricks are for kids.

I went back and looked at the group celebrating with Jacob. If that entire group is working against Jacob. And if that group is also the cannibals, and they only did that to get at Jacob politically—then they are extremely callous. Especially since a pig was also with them at that celebration.

Remember this is Velda at work. She set up Allgood too. He only suggested not to forget we are human not farm products. Jake wanted to just supplement stocks using milk and eggs. The Inner Circle would like some meat too. Jake did not go far enough to free up food stocks. But he did do away with the Council…..a roadblock to the Inner Circle overall plans.Everyone is equal……just some are more equal than others.All for the greater good…..sacrifices will be required. First pigs. Next beef? Cow no producing milk? How’s Maude doing?

What if it’s Velda who is part of the inner circle and is leading Jacob around while Mavis is actually part of an anti-inner circle group? Ketamine can make you hallucinate, so no telling what Mavis will say while drugged.
