I don’t see a problem with this. My cats stare at the walls all the time. Maybe there’s an ant crawling around on the wall. That’s entertainment for cats.
This is my son’s cat “Gizmo”. My cat leaves nose prints all over the window with the birds, partly because the chase and harrass her when she’s outside!

Anyone else struck by the feeling that this could easily be a Far Side comic? Don’t get me wrong, I just thought that it is along the same bent.
